You think it’s groovy to fly?

there’s a lot more to this life,

a lot more to life than just flying.

daring and dying to do

the one thing that I can

without trying.

I’d like to take off these wings

so I could give them to you.

Then you’d feel the full weight

that I’ve grown used to.

I’d feel free to crawl back

into my cocoon.
